James T. McElrath, Sr., age 66, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family, Friday, November 22, 2024.

He was born October 2, 1958 in Youngstown, the son of James and the late Rachel (Wolff) McElrath.

He worked as a pipe liner for most of his life. He owned Ace Pipeling, Inc. He was a member of LiUNA Local 935 since 1977.

In his spare time he loved spending time with family and friends, as well as sitting on the beach.

Precious memories of James live on with his wife, Tracy McElrath, who he married on January 16, 2012; his father, James McElrath of Southington; six children,Tabitha Mann of Warren, Carrie Marchionda of Boardman, James T. (Toni) McElrath, Jr. of Boardman, Stephanie (Adam) Rogers of Austintown, Patrick McElrath of Austintown and Francesco McElrath of Warren; three stepchildren, Jennifer (Troy) Shaffer of Youngstown, Melissa (Vince) Curiel of Virginia and Samantha (Christopher) Sheffield of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Diana (Terry) Angus of Florida, Lisa (Jack) Ross of Chardon and Rachelle (Gary) Jeffco of Southington; two brothers, Joel (Ronda) McElrath of Southington and Daniel McElrath of Niles and a host of nieces and nephews.
