Judy was born November 5, 1944 in Atlanta, Georgia to Franklin Irving Powers and Jerylie Hendrix Powers.

She’s a 1962 graduate of Bay high school in Bay Village, Ohio. After graduation, Judy attended Ohio University.

Judy resided in Virginia Beach Virginia, where she worked for the U.S. Coast Guard auxiliary. She then moved to Pensacola Florida, where she worked for the Pensacola naval air station from 1975 to 1977.

Judy received a paralegal associates degree in science-legal assistant at Pensacola Junior college in 1983.

Her passion for horses came from her time spent in Florida, even later becoming a horse trainer. Judy loved all animals and always made generous donations to many charities in their honor. Judy enjoyed gardening, but was especially fond of her tulips.
